Agriculture Leaders in Legislature Endorse Tim Huelskamp for Congress
Kansans for Huelskamp is proud to announce the endorsements today of State Representatives Larry Powell (R-117), Rocky Fund (R-50), Dan Kerschen (R-93), and State Senator Dr. Steve Abrams, DVM.

“As a farmer himself, Senator Huelskamp has long been an advocate for agriculture and for helping rural Kansas,” notes Representative Powell, Chairman of the House Agriculture Committee. “Working together with Tim on agriculture and rural issues for nine years, I know firsthand how Tim understands and fights for Kansas farmers and ranchers.”

This is the second of several announcements of support from Kansas Legislators that the Huelskamp campaign plans to roll out over the next several weeks.

"As a state senator representing a rural district for more than a dozen years, I am honored to have earned the support of some of the most respected Legislators on agriculture issues. These legislators are real advocates for Kansas agriculture – and I am honored to have their support in this race for Congress," said Huelskamp.

Representative Powell is Chairman of the House Agriculture Committee; Representative Fund is Vice-Chairman of the House Agriculture Committee; and Representative Kerschen is also a member of the Agriculture Committee. Senator Dr. Abrams earned a doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University and is a well-respected veterinarian in Arkansas City.

Huelskamp has also been endorsed by several conservative leaders and organizations, including Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, Kansans for Life, Concerned Women for America PAC, Rev. Lou Sheldon, Ken Blackwell, Pro-Life Leader Jill Stanek, and conservative leaders David Bossie, Colin Hanna and Phil Burress. He currently leads all congressional candidates in total fundraising and contributions raised in the District.
