Two Hutchinson Lawmakers Endorse Huelskamp

DODGE CITY – Tim Huelskamp, Republican candidate for Congress in the Big First, announced today the endorsements of two Republican lawmakers representing Hutchinson and Reno County, House Speaker Mike O’Neal and State Senator Terry Bruce.

“Tim Huelskamp is a principled conservative,” said Speaker O’Neal. “I know voters can trust Tim because I’ve seen him fight for limited government and lower taxes, even if it wasn’t politically convenient to do so.”

“In the Senate, I’ve seen Tim go to bat for the conservative principles he believes in,” said Senator Bruce. “When it comes to cutting taxes and fighting wasteful spending, nobody in this race is more reliable than Tim Huelskamp.”

The two Hutchinson Republicans represent all or parts of Reno County. With approximately 16,000 Republican voters, Reno County is one of the most critical areas in the upcoming August 3rd Republican primary.

The additions of O’Neal and Bruce give Huelskamp a total of 33 legislative endorsements from the Kansas house and senate.
