Huelskamp Continues to Dominate Fundraising
DODGE CITY – For the fifth consecutive quarter, Senator Tim Huelskamp outraised all six of his Republican primary opponents, posting contributions totaling a haul of $128, 974 raised in the first quarter of 2010. Huelskamp ended the quarter with an outstanding $530,582 in the bank.

“Tim Huelskamp leads his next closest opponent by nearly $150,000 in cash on hand,” said Huelskamp Spokesman David Ray. “With just over 100 days until the primary election, cash on hand is - without a doubt - the only important fundraising number. It represents the available resources each campaign has to communicate their message with the voters. And in this category, Huelskamp continues to dominate.”

In addition to outraising all other campaigns every quarter this cycle and leading in cash on hand, Huelskamp has raised more than $700,000 over the course of the campaign – more than any other candidate. Having received contributions from all 69 First District counties, Huelskamp’s fundraising totals indicate a broad base of grassroots support. Huelskamp also recently launched the first television ad of the Congressional campaign.

Below are the cash on hand totals for each KS-01 Republican campaign:

Huelskamp $530,582
Barnett $382,824
Mann $261,743
Wasinger $213, 435
Shadwick $23,416
Boldra $17,272
